(AI Requirements for Jira)
1. Controller and scope
Holo AI (Kleingewerbe) is responsible for the processing of personal data related to our Atlassian Cloud app AI Requirements for Jira. This Privacy Policy applies to the App as listed on the Atlassian Marketplace.
2. Data sources and categories
Customer input/data: Any data users provide via the App is stored solely in the customer’s own Atlassian Cloud instance.
No external data storage: We do not access, store, or retrieve customer content from outside the Atlassian product instance.
Third-party LLM processing: Some customer input is sent to our third-party partner openrouter.ai for large language model processing.
3. Purpose and legal basis
Personal data is processed strictly to provide the requested App functionality:
App functions: Deliver app features within your Atlassian instance, based on customer input.
LLM request processing: Customer input (as required for LLM features) is sent to [partner’s name] for immediate processing.
Legal basis under GDPR:
Art. 6(1)(b) – Contract performance (feature delivery to customer).
Art. 6(1)(f) – Legitimate interests (secure and proper function of the App).
4. Data hosting and transfers
App data: Stored exclusively in your Atlassian Cloud site (not on our infrastructure).
Third-party LLMs: Customer input sent to openrouter.ai is processed solely with their secure partners, under a “Zero Data Retention” policy—no data is stored after processing and output delivery.
No other data transfers: We do not share data with additional parties.
5. Retention periods
Customer content: Retained only as long as kept in your Atlassian Cloud instance—controlled by you.
LLM requests: Never retained by Holo AI beyond transient processing. No data is logged, stored, or reused by us or our partner.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or disclose customer data to any external party except:
Third-party LLM processing: Customer input is briefly processed by openrouter.ai, under contractual terms guaranteeing Zero Data Retention, but subject to Openrouter's privacy policy.
Atlassian: Data may be shared with Atlassian only as required for the core Atlassian Cloud platform operation or support (subject to Atlassian’s privacy policy).
7. User rights
If GDPR applies, you have rights to:

Erase,
Restrict processing of your personal data,
Object,
Withdraw consent where applicable.

8. Cookies and tracking
Our App does not use cookies or external tracking technologies. Any cookies in the Atlassian product are outside our control and subject to Atlassian’s privacy policy.
